I am so excited to share some big news coming out of the Higham House this month. As of April 1st, I will begin working with an ministry called the National Network of Youth Ministries (NNYM).
For 40 years, NNYM has been bringing Christ-followers together through youth leader networks to help share the gospel and advance ministry to every teenager. Networking means leveraging efforts - working together. And "together" means all of us - youth workers, teenage leaders, teachers, parents, other adults - everyone who loves kids. NNYM seeks to equip youth workers to step out and work alongside other caring adults locally - empowered by national connections to reach and equip young people for Jesus Christ. Having worked for 25 years in full-time student ministry, I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the role of Appalachia Area Coordinator, and will serve the students and youth workers of West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. Networking with youth leaders has been a passion of mine for years. These relationships have become an invaluable part of my ministry. As the Appalachia Area Coordinator, I will have the opportunity to connect with youth workers as a mentor, encourager, trainer, speaker, and a ministry and life coach. - jay
