At NNYM, we believe there is an urgent need for leaders who passionately follow Jesus and will disciple the next generation as Jesus-followers. That is why we are partnering with the Global Leadership Summit NextGen track. On August 8-9, we will provide youth pastors, parachurch ministry workers, and other adults who care about teens with top-level leadership training. We will equip leaders to grow so they can best lead, train and mentor the next generation as they follow Jesus. Will you join us for this cause?
Here is how you can help train youth leaders and empower the next generation: Encourage leaders in your community to attend GLS NextGen! - They can sign up at https://bit.ly/glsnnym and use our network referral code, SMT24NXTGEN, to receive $80 off the registration fee. Would you sponsor a youth leader to attend GLS NextGen? - This is an opportunity for you to personally and directly empower youth leaders. Your gift of $99 will send one more youth leader to the Summit. Click here to sponsor a youth leader! With your help, we will train today’s leaders and see them grow in their followership of Jesus and ministry with the next generation. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

It has been an exciting month. We jumped into June with a 3-day stay in Somerset. There we had the opportunity to meet with a number of ministry partners and potential ministry partners. It was a great time as we shared our new ministry role with National Network of Youth Ministries (NNYM). It was a fruitful time as we welcomed 2 new ministry partners From Somerset, we traveled east to Ocean City, New Jersey, for a week with our family. It was all sun, sand, and surf as we enjoyed the beach, boardwalk, and some sweet family time. With all the kids together, we realized it had been almost 3 years since our last family vacation. It was a great time. Along with scheduling ministry partner appointments, I have become reaching out to youth workers here in West Virginia. The plan is to start in the Wheeling area, then head towards the Morgantown area. I've been fortunate to meet with youth leaders from southwestern PA. It's so exciting to be able to have conversations with these amazing people, hear their faith stories, and learn about their ministries. I am so grateful for all the support and encouragement I received over the last couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing God move in relationships and ministry opportunities.
- jay This week's update comes a little late having spent a couple days in Somerset. It's been a great week connecting with friends and youth workers. In last weeks update I shared that I had a number of ministry partner appointments. I'm thrilled to share that we welcomed two new ministry partners. I also had the opportunity to meet with a youth worker and a couple ministry leaders in the area. These meet ups are so important as I work to know and build relationships with ministry leaders in the area. While in Somerset, I also had the opportunity to talk with a number of ministry leaders and have started setting up additional appointments for a couple of weeks from now. We're still focused on our support raising. For the entire months of June and July, we will continue to arrange appointments to meet with ministry partners and ministry leaders throughout the area. - jay |
