2025 NNYM Team Gathering In Mt. Hermon, California
At 3:30 AM, on Monday, May 19th, Amy drove me to the Cleveland airport to catch the first of my two flights to California. From Cleveland to Fort Worth to San Jose, for a week with the NNYM team. It was our annual Team Gathering, an opportunity to meet with the whole NNYM team in person.
We gathered among the redwoods at Mount Hermon Camp and Conference Center, located in the hills not far from Santa Cruz. The camp is nestled among towering redwoods, providing an ideal location for some training, business meetings, team building, and refreshment. |
It was a great week of encouragement as we heard from team members about what God is doing through their ministry to youth leaders. We heard a brief NNYM history lesson from Randy Davis, Executive Director/CEO, and a glimpse at where NNYM is heading as an organization. One of the big things we heard was how NNYM has grown over the last couple of years, welcoming multiple new team members and setting the team up to connect and work with more youth leaders.
We were also updated with news of our new logo and branding, and our ministry initiatives for the coming school year. We want to reach every student with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we think about how to accomplish such a bold, ambitious mission we know that it all begins with prayer. In the coming weeks I will begin to share more details about Footprints on Campus, our annual prayer event for students and schools across the country.

It was a great week to connect, be challenged and encouraged. And, as I return to Cleveland and begin thinking about the mission of ahead, I am grateful for your ongoing support through your prayers and financial support. As I reach out and connect with youth leaders in the Cleveland area, your partnership is helping me support and encourage youth leaders.
