Luke 10:38-42

We just finished an amazing week of Vacation Bible School. It's great! As is the tradition in our church, we take the Sunday at the end of the VBS week to celebrate God's goodness and recap all that we experienced. I had the opportunity to preach. As the week progressed, I prayed that God would give me a message that captured the lessons of the week while challenging the church.

What I found was that God had a message for me.

I want you to think of a time where you got so wrapped up in the work and preparation for something that when the time came for the event all your focus was on the work and in working, you missed out on the event itself.
