2026 NNYM Thrive Gathering

Dear friends and partners,

We’re grateful to share a glimpse into a meaningful week of ministry, connection, and renewal. Amy and I traveled safely from Cleveland, Ohio down to Waxahachie, Texas, where we stayed at Lakeview Camp and Conference Center for our annual, week-long Thrive Gathering with NNYM. We’re thankful for your prayers over our travel—they were clearly felt every step of the way.

Throughout the week, our focus was centered on what it truly looks like to serve youth leaders with intentionality—being personally encouraging, spiritually strengthening, and professionally equipping them for the work God has called them to. We also spent time prayerfully considering our 2026–2027 ministry goals: strengthening relational connectedness, advancing leadership development, and deepening spiritual formation. It was both challenging and inspiring to ask how these priorities will shape the way we invest in youth leaders moving forward.

In addition to the rich learning and team collaboration, we had a few opportunities to explore the area together. We visited the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, where we watched a live cattle drive, did some shopping, and enjoyed a memorable team dinner at Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que. We also made a stop in Waco to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos, which was a fun and relaxing way to connect with some of the team.

More than anything, this week was a time of refreshment—spiritually, relationally, and professionally. We returned encouraged, aligned, and expectant for what God will do in the coming year. Amy and I are especially excited to continue building relationships with youth leaders throughout the greater Ohio area, walking alongside them so they can thrive in their calling.
